Annexation of lot of one acre or less into Nampa approved
The City Council approved annexing a county lot into the city on Nov. 17. The owners say the county required the annexation because of an improper lot split and zoning in 1986 or 1987. The lot has a home on it.
About this application
The Rhuman family has asked the City of Nampa to annex a 0.38-acre vacant lot at 7736 Birch Lane and zone it for single-family residential use (RS 8.5). The lot is surrounded by land already in the city and is used for the owners' personal storage, with no new construction proposed. Annexation would resolve Canyon County code violations tied to how the lot was split off from the neighboring parcel.
