About this application

Brian Scott is asking the city for permission to build a 1,414-square-foot accessory dwelling unit on his property at 996 East Equine Lane, at the end of the road in the Rocking A Ranch subdivision. City code caps such units at 1,200 square feet on lots this size, so the request is for an exception to that limit. The lot is 5.72 acres and is being combined with the neighboring lot to make 10.65 acres.

Brian Scott, represented by Chomo Santana, is requesting conditional use permit approval for a waiver of the 1,200- square foot maximum accessory dwelling unit size for a residential lot over 40,000-square feet for a 1,414-square foot accessory dwelling unit at 996 East Equine Lane. The 5.72-acre site is located at the terminus of East Equine Lane, approximately 2,300 feet east of North Eagle Road.
