Eagle approves reduced buffer plantings for 4-lot subdivision over irrigation pipeline
The City Council on Oct. 28 approved a modified development agreement that allows fewer plants where an irrigation pipeline easement overlaps the buffer and drops the meandering berm requirement. The owner must submit a revised landscape plan.
About this application
The developer of the Amberly Ranch Subdivision, a 4-lot residential subdivision on 7 acres at 2142 West Beacon Light Road in Eagle, asked to change the landscaping rules along Beacon Light Road and Ballantyne Lane. A buried irrigation pipeline (Lateral 78) limits how many and how tall the plants can be near it, so the City Council allowed reduced plantings in that strip and removed the requirement for a meandering berm.
Council authorization for Mayor to execute the modified development agreement associated with Amberly Ranch Subdivision. The 7.00-acre site is located west of North Ballantyne Lane at 2142 West Beacon Light Road.
