Verizon wins approval for six rooftop cell antennas on Eagle office building
The Eagle City Council approved a conditional use permit on Nov. 12 for six antennas painted to match the brick on a three-story office building's parapet, with a roof equipment platform capped at 52 feet, 8 inches and screened from view.
About this application
Verizon Wireless wants to attach six cell antennas to the roof parapet wall of the three-story PET IQ office building at 230 East Riverside Drive in Eagle. The antennas would be painted to match the brick, and equipment would sit on a rooftop platform of about 10 by 12 feet. The facility is meant to improve cell coverage along State Highway 44 and nearby commercial and residential areas.
Verizon Wireless, represented by Sarah Miller with Lynx Consulting, is requesting conditional use permit approval for a personal wireless facility (height over 50-feet) to be attached to an existing building. The 3.85-acre site is located within the Eagle River development on the north side of East Eagle River Street and East Riverside Drive on Lot 20 and a portion of Lot 19, Block 3, Mixed Use Subdivision No. 5 at 230 East Riverside Drive.
