Culvert replacement on Eightmile Creek approved as part of road widening

The plan swaps an aging 36-by-48-inch corrugated metal pipe for a 48-inch concrete pipe. It is part of a project to widen a two-lane rural road to five lanes with multi-use paths. The city approved it Aug. 7 after a no-rise flood review.
