Idaho Power Company received approval for a conditional use permit and master site plan for a new transmission line with power poles on about 237 acres. The line would connect to existing lines in Elmore County, and approval carries conditions on dust, lighting, noise and pipeline footings.

Idaho Power Company has applied to build a 230 kilovolt overhead electric transmission line on about 237 acres north of East Monroe Avenue and east of South Orchard Access Road in unincorporated Ada County. The line would connect the existing Pleasant Valley Solar Substation to a new Mayfield Substation in Elmore County, and staff recommends approval.
