Extension approved for 12-lot commercial subdivision plan

Ada County commissioners approved a final two-year extension of a 2006 preliminary plat covering about 11.4 acres, running to Jan. 14, 2028. The extension gives new property owners time to file their own plans for the commercial lots.

The applicant, Rocky Mountain Companies, is asking Ada County commissioners for a third and final two-year extension of an older preliminary plat approval (Hazelwood Village Subdivision, originally approved in 2006). The extension would give the new property owners time to file their own plans for a 12-lot commercial subdivision with signage and a service drive on about 11.4 acres near W. Lake Hazel Road and S. Five Mile Road in Boise. The staff report says the extension would run until January 14, 2028, if approved.

Application for approval of a Final Time Extension to be reviewed by the BOCC to allow time for the new property owners to fully get through our own preliminary plat application and final plat application related to our planned commercial subdivision project (Ada County Project No. 202501512-S - 200600071-DA-DM).
