Kevin and Kimberly Slazas are asking to rezone about 7.83 acres at 7718 Elko Lane near Middleton from agricultural to single-family residential. A development agreement would limit the property to no more than three lots, with two new lots of about 1.25 acres each and the existing home and a second dwelling kept on a 5.33-acre lot. Secondary dwellings would be prohibited on the two new lots.

The applicant, Kevin and Kimberly Slazas, is requesting an amendment to the official zoning map in order to conditionally rezone approximately 7.83 acres from the “A” (Agricultural) zone to a “CR-R-1” (Conditional Rezone Single Family Residential) zone. The request includes a development agreement limiting the future subdivision into no more than three (3) residential lots and prohibiting secondary dwellings on the two (2) lots that are proposed to be approximately 1.25 acres in size.
