Deschutes Investments, LLC asked to rezone a 32.28-acre property north of 7519 E. Locust Lane in Nampa from agricultural to service commercial, limited to about 9 acres, for an outdoor RV and vehicle storage facility with 486 spaces. The proposal includes a 6-foot privacy fence, a 7 am to 9 pm schedule, and no buildings. The Board's findings conclude the request is not consistent with the comprehensive plan and is not compatible with the surrounding agricultural land.

The applicant, Riley Planning Services, LLC, representing Deschutes Investments, LLC, requests an amendment to the official zoning map to conditionally rezone a portion of Parcel R28836 from “A” (Agricultural) to “CR-C-2” (Conditional Rezone – Service Commercial). The request includes a development restriction that limits the rezoned area to approximately 9 acres to establish an RV/outdoor storage facility. The remaining acreage will remain zoned “A”.
