The City of Homedale is asking Canyon County to confirm its existing area of impact, the surrounding land where the city expects growth and may later provide services, as required by a 2024 state law update. The area lies north and east of the Snake River, mostly toward Ustick Road and Highway 95, and is largely zoned rural residential. County planning staff recommend reducing the area to the city's current limits.
