Republic Services Environmental Solutions III, LLC has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a municipal solid waste landfill for household and other non-hazardous waste at the existing Simco Road Regional Landfill site in Elmore County. The 640-acre site would also include a stormwater pond, a weigh scale, and several existing office, warehouse, and shop buildings.
