Sunview Dairy LLC wants to expand its existing open-lot dairy at 6600 Blanksma Road, about 6 miles southwest of Mountain Home. The plan would switch the herd from Jersey to Holstein cows and raise the herd size from 11,703 to 26,000 animal units. It also adds two new milk parlors, an upgraded milk parlor, reconfigured corrals and two cross-vent barns, built in three phases on a 646.78-acre site.
