Council approves updated agreement for 637-home Seasons Creek development

The change to the 16-year-old agreement covers about 179 acres. It updates roads and open space, drops planned commercial uses along the northern edge and sets aside a 10-acre school site. The council approved it on Sept. 15 after an earlier denial and a reconsideration request.

The developer of Seasons Creek Subdivision asks to modify a 2008 development agreement for a roughly 179-acre site on North Black Cat Road near Deer Flat Road. The plan keeps the same 637 home lots as the original 2007 plan but moves the commercial zone, with about 6 acres of commercial land, about 26 acres of open space, a 10-acre school site and a small city utility lot.

Applicant seeks reconsideration of the Council's Decision at the June 16, 2026 meeting. Tabled on July 7, 2026 to a date uncertain and was re-noticed by the City and the applicant.
