The owners of Rocky Mountain Jet asked for a conditional use permit to sell new jet boats, boat parts and accessories from an existing building at 612 1st St S in Nampa's Downtown Village zone. City inspectors found the building is also being used to repair and build boats, which is not allowed in that zone. The business has been operating without a valid permit or certificate of occupancy, and staff presented both approval and denial conclusions for the Commission to decide.
