The City of Meridian Planning Division, with consent from the property owners, proposes annexing about 1,322 acres of mostly rural land south of Meridian, generally along W. Amity Road between S. Linder Road and S. Eagle Road. The land would be zoned for mostly low-density residential use, with smaller areas for medium-density residential, medium-high-density residential, and general retail and service. No development is proposed with this annexation, and property owners would sign development agreements with the city.
