Kristina and Mark McMullen are asking the city for a conditional use permit for a non-commercial kennel at their single-family home at 204 S Canyon St in Nampa. It would let them keep eight hound dogs, which they describe as conservation working dogs, where city code normally allows only two. The dogs would be housed in a converted garage kennel.
