Nampa council approves landscape buffer variance for Pacific Supply site
The city council approved a variance from the 15-foot landscape buffer rule for the 2.77-acre industrial property, allowing no landscaping in front of the converted office and minimal planting elsewhere. The approval came with conditions, including that all city building and development standards be followed.

Pacific Supply, an existing industrial business at 1731 Industrial Rd in Nampa, is asking the City Council for a variance from landscaping rules triggered by rebuilding its parking lot. It proposes no street landscape buffer in front of the office so customer parking can stay, and a 15-foot buffer on the east and west sides of the building with only limited, low-water plantings because of overhead power lines and truck traffic.
