The owner of a single-family home at 1915 S Elder St in Nampa asked to replace the worn rear fence along an irrigation lateral with a fence up to 8 feet tall measured from the yard, built on a roughly 2-foot retaining base. The lateral bank is eroding into the yard and sits about 2 feet higher, so the fence would measure about 6 feet from the lateral's grade. The Planning Director approved it with conditions.
