Council approves easement vacation to allow carports at two fourplexes

The City Council approved on April 14 vacating 28 feet of a 34-foot utility and sewer easement, keeping a 6-foot strip. City Legal must still prepare a resolution that the council approves and records before the vacation is final.

Kevin Lloyd is asking the Boise City Council to vacate 28 feet of a 34-foot-wide utility and sewer easement on the west side of 8909 W. Candleston Lane, keeping a 6-foot strip along the west property line. The change would allow carports to be built over the parking spaces for the two existing fourplex buildings (condos) on the lot.
