The application's description as it appears in City of Nampa's record. See the official record

The city approved a variance for a 3.43-acre business-zoned property at 4865 E Franklin Rd that lets a required building setback shrink from 35 feet to 20 feet. The city had widened Franklin Road, taking land that the previously approved development plan had relied on, which left less room for landscaping, parking and the building.

We request a variance to reduce the setback to 20 feet instead of 35 feet. This request acknowledges the impact of the recent widening of Franklin Road, which has reduced the available space for landscaping, parking, and the building footprint. Two (2) single-story Multi-Tenant Flex Buildings w/drive-thru lanes for each building.
