The owners of a 0.32-acre lot at 605 13th Ave N in Nampa want to rezone it from two-family residential to neighborhood business so they can build a 3,272 sq. ft. residential-style office building for counseling services for people with disabilities. The request also asks to change the city's future land use map from Medium Density Residential to Residential Mixed Use for a roughly 36-acre area between Lakeview Park and Indian Creek. Staff recommended approval to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Construction of a residential style 3272 sq. ft. building. At the pre-application meeting it was determined the best route was to seek a Comp Plan amendment from Medium Density Residential to Residential Mixed Use. Also, a rezone from RD to BN to allow Medical Clinic or related services.
