Walmart wins approval for outdoor display and storage at its Nampa store
The city approved a conditional use permit allowing the store to display and store retail merchandise outdoors, seasonally and year-round, in its parking lot. The decision came at a June 10 hearing and includes conditions requiring compliance with city codes and the access management policy.

A homeowner at 5616 E Walbrook in Nampa asks for permission to run a small home-based gunsmith business, doing rifle repairs, custom rifle assembly and engraving, with sales made online and picked up through local gun stores. No changes to the outside of the house are proposed, and the business would operate four days a week from 9 AM to 3 PM on a 0.20-acre residential lot.
To allow primary business operation to include the continued unenclosed outdoor display and storage of retail merchandise, both seasonally and year-round.
