Council approves removing 1,262 square feet of unused utility easement

The City Council approved the vacation on Feb. 2, finishing a removal begun in 2025. The city found the leftover strip unnecessary, and the owner needs the area to make full use of the property. No new buildings are described.

Karcher Middleton LLC asks the Nampa City Council to vacate (permanently remove) a roughly 1,262-square-foot public utility easement at 0 W Karcher Rd. The strip was missed when most of the easements on these lots were vacated in May 2025, and removing it would finish that process. No new building is proposed, and staff recommends approval.

Continuation of easement vacation initiated in December 2024.
