A request to change the city's future land use map from Residential Mixed Use to Medium Density Residential for about 266.6 acres between Alma Lane, Locust Lane, Southside Blvd and Happy Valley Road in Nampa. The change would let the New York Landing subdivision keep building as an all-residential neighborhood without having to include neighborhood commercial space. No new buildings or units are proposed by this request.

Amend the designation from RMU to MDR. One hundred thirty-six acres of the area is part of the previously approved New York Landing sub, which is zoned RS8.5. This amendment would ensure consistency with the actual land use and zoning already in place, and would align with the long-term vision for the community.
