The applicants, Devin and Diane Stephens, propose splitting their 1.64-acre property at 411 7th Ave N in Nampa into two parcels, one of about 0.64 acres for a new single-family home and one of about 1.0 acre that keeps the existing house. Because the resulting lots exceed the 12,000 square foot maximum lot size for the RS 6 single-family zone, the split requires a variance. The City Council is scheduled to consider the request at a public hearing on July 1, 2024.
