Ada County adopts Meridian's updated comprehensive plan for its growth area
The county approved adopting the city's updated comprehensive plan and future land use map for the Meridian Area of Impact, and amending the county zoning ordinance to reference it. The change would remove about 507 acres from the area and add a 5.06-acre parcel.

Ada County is proposing to adopt the City of Meridian's updated Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map for the Meridian Area of Impact, the unincorporated area around Meridian that the city plans for. The change would also reflect a boundary update that removes 507.34 acres (38 parcels) mainly along the southwest edge and adds one 5.06-acre parcel on the east side, north of Amity Road and west of Cloverdale Road.
