Ada County is proposing to update the boundary of the City of Star's Area of Impact, the surrounding area where county land-use decisions must follow Star's plans, and to adopt Star's 2022 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map for that area. The change would add about 5,751 acres to Star's Area of Impact and remove about 821 acres. Staff recommends approval at the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing on October 23, 2025.
