The City of Nampa proposes to adopt a new form-based code for the downtown core and rename its downtown zones. The Downtown Historic zone would become Central Nampa (CN), Downtown Village would become Gateway Business 2 (GB2), and Downtown Business would become Gateway Business 1 (GB1). The change would also amend the Comprehensive Plan and several chapters of the city zoning code; the document does not give a total acreage.
Downtown Implementation Plan calls for a rezoning of the Downtown Zones with overlay districts in the new CN Zone.
