The City of Nampa proposes a new form-based code for its downtown, replacing the current downtown zoning chapter with a Central Nampa zone that has five form districts. The package also rezones the old Downtown Historic, Downtown Village and Downtown Business zones to Central Nampa and two Gateway Business zones, and updates the Comprehensive Plan and several city code chapters to match. The Planning and Zoning Commission is being asked to make a recommendation to City Council.
