The owner of 1919 N Harrison Blvd in Boise's North End asked the city to recognize an existing detached garage as a legal non-conforming structure, since it sits in the street-side and rear setbacks and has direct access to Irene Street. The city confirmed that status and approved a roughly 105-square-foot addition to turn an alcove into a sunroom, about 16 percent of the garage's floor area, on a 0.14-acre lot.
